Over 8,000 delegates are converging in Nairobi.
The East African Community (EAC) is poised to take a monumental step toward fostering regional integration and global economic collaboration with the upcoming EAC Global Connect Summit and EXPO 2025, set to take place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya. Under the theme “Unlocking East Africa Community Markets to Global Business Avenues through Enhanced Trade Collaboration,” this landmark event will bring together over 6,000 visitors, 2,000 delegates, and 400 companies from across the globe and the EAC member states.

Promoting Intra-Regional Trade
The summit will highlight the importance of removing trade barriers, harmonizing policies, and enhancing infrastructure to facilitate seamless trade within the EAC. By doing so, it will strengthen the region’s economic resilience and competitiveness on the global stage.

Attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI):
The event will showcase the EAC as an attractive destination for foreign investment. With sessions focused on investment opportunities in key sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, energy, technology, and tourism, the summit will connect global investors with East Africa’s most promising ventures.

Showcasing East Africa’s Potential:
The EXPO component of the event will feature over 400 companies from the EAC and beyond, showcasing their products, services, and innovations. This will not only highlight the region’s economic potential but also provide a platform for businesses to forge new partnerships.

Strengthening -Private Partnerships:
The summit will provide a platform for dialogue between the private sector, encouraging collaborative efforts to address infrastructure gaps, improve the business environment, and create a conducive ecosystem for trade and investment.
